TPD Compliance
The Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) is a new set of rules and regulations that went into effect in May 2016 in the United Kingdom and the European Union. The TPD establishes particular rules for the sale and manufacture of e-cigarettes and e-liquids in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Before a vaping product may be sold in the UK or the EU, it must be totally compliant with the TPD.
The TPD's objective is to promote safety and educate the public about the risks of purchasing nicotine-containing goods. The TPD emphasises the importance of purchasing e-cigarette and vaping products by those over the age of 18.
What does this all mean?

- Overseas sales will be limited but not forbidden across Europe.
- If three EU member countries vote that e-cigarettes are a dangerous product, the EU has the authority to outright ban them on their territory.
